PARTICIPATORY WORKSHOP | QUIMBEL-DO + RITME IN THE TEMPS I MOU-TE BABEL

We have a beautiful experience from 7:30 p.m. hand in hand with QUIMBEL-DO. An intergenerational workshop with RITME EN EL TEMPS I MOU-TE BABEL at the Casal de Joves Palau Alòs.

At 8:00 p.m. We went outside the Casal de Barri Pou de la Figuera and we all improvised together, including the people from the neighborhood who joined spontaneously..

Thank Isabel Ollé and Quim Cabanillas who woke up our bodies. To all the participants who joined this peculiar proposal. To the people of Pou de la Figuera and Palau Alos, especially Inés and Charli who made this moment of dance possible for everyone.

MULTIDISCIPLINARY PERFORMANCE | POLHED

Polhed was an integrated dance performance + video that reflects on “the gaze of the other” and “disability”. ‘In what way does a prejudging look affect? How to free ourselves from the limitations imposed by the gaze of society? We see it very clearly. Dancing! ’It seemed important to us since the MiTS festival to make visible and give tools to new choreographers.

On this occasion, Miriam Aguilera leaves her role as a dancer for a moment to create and choreograph her own and very personal work.

In this edition, both the jury award and the audience award have been for pieces that came from outside of Spain. And we have had the pleasant surprise that the Director of the winning piece and his dancer have been able to come to Barcelona to receive the award from the United Kingdom. It has been a very emotional moment and from the organization of MiTS we are very grateful for the effort.
